1977.b American - currently living and working in Germany. I was born in Mississippi where my growing desire to see the world led me to become an international contemporary artist working in mixed media. With over 25 years of art practice and experiences, I enjoy traveling and broadening my knowledge of art through my association with various educational programs and cultural institutions. The continuous exchange with people from different countries and walks of life is ever inspiring. My Artist Statement remains under constant construction. For now... the passage below touches close. " In both my everyday life and artistic production, I enjoy diversity. I continue developing through my work. To stay creative, I explore beyond the traditional and into the vastness of the unknown." Outside or inside the studio, It all starts with thoughts and then the eventual mark making process... I allow thoughts and the unexpected splendors of natural forces to illuminate my creative path. I recently chose to present my work here because I feel that this platform gives equal opportunity for ideas and expressions to be seen and taken into consideration. I look forward to the influences I am able to share and absorb through the constant interactions and participation of global creative groups and individuals.
