About the artist
My energy is expressed through my art; my love, my pain, my passion, my anger. I have begun to enjoy using acrylic paints as my main source of medium, breaking away from charcoal and pencil, due to the wide range of color options and how the brush strokes can evoke certain emotions. As a contrast to the brush stokes I incorporate ink into many of my pieces. To me the ink is solid and pure I let the ink run down the curves and cracks of my objects and figures. The ink seems to seduce my subjects and in turn become the focal point of the work. Being an emotional artist I hope my audience can relate to my art and perhaps feel the same since of emotion placed into each piece.
